Great day of fishing with nephew DJ Russian. DJ landed one of the biggest Spanish Mackerel I've seen. It measured 25 1/4" from nose to fork. Great Job DJ! Not the only one caught, but the biggest of 6 nice Spanish.

Lots of bait, Cigs were hard to catch but Herring were not. Big Bonita, Spanish and small Kings.

Coming onto the pier, heard that a nice 8lb. Flounder was caught Friday. Today the action in the morning seems to be Spanish and Bluefish and small Kings at the end. Bait was difficult to catch most of the day. Fishing got better when the breeze picked up at the end of the pier; where 2 Kings were caught, and we have pictures of those.

Rain in the morning but finally cleared, Spanish were all over as usual, Reds, Black Tips, Bobos and Kings.
